I heard about the PaleoCleanse Plus Detox Program from a Internist/Chiropractor during a lecture for Continuing Education Class. It was on Chronic Inflammation. He was talking about the different pathways of inflammation like stress, poor diet, environment and problems it causes like auto-immune disorders, diabetes, pain and the ways to stop it like supplements, diet, exercise, meditation, etc. But, he would continually go back to what he said was one of his favorite products from Designs for Health Paleocleanse detox program for your liver and elimination diet. He taught how resetting your liver was one of the first steps needed to reduce chronic inflammation and health disorders caused by it. He did blood work, cortisol tests, and other tests on his patients and knew the program worked great and for only 2 weeks. He like the products and guidebook. So, I had to try for myself the program especially since my Balancing body chemistry test was showing liver signs and also Zyto Scan. He had talked mainly about the Vegecleanse plus but since Iron makes me very sick over time I decided on doing the HydroBeef cleanse instead. Starting out besides my Balancing body Chemistry test being bad and Zyto I also been under huge amount of stress for last year so I knew I needed it. The kit comes in a box with shaker, guide book, meal packets and supplements to take. The guidebook is great because it tells you exactly what you have to do and what to eat and not to eat. It also has example meals. I wasn’t trying to lose weight but went from 168.8 to 159.2. I’ve been off the program for several weeks now and have stayed at 160.2 to 161.3. The amazing thing is getting under 165 for me. I haven’t been under that weight for as long as I can remember. The drinks were good and kept me satisfied afterwards. I ate snacks like almonds, fruit and veggies. My meals were always dinner and varied from salmon and veggies, tuna and veggies, steak and veggies, chicken and veggies so all pretty simple and easy to make. I was already off caffeine which helped reduce feeling bad for the first 2 to 3 days. I started on a Tuesday and worked with no problems and continued to work out (3 times a week of cardio, strength training, and stretching) and meditations. I did crave at times some bread and bad carbs but worked through it with fruit and almonds/etc. I felt lot better and enjoyed losing the weight which I wasn’t expecting. I felt even better after I stopped and could eat some carbs that helped me even feel better. One thing that was good was that I have kept eating healthier choices then I was before. Not having dairy of course made me feel better being lactose intolerant (but already knew that) but if I had never done a elimination diet would have figured that out by putting things back into my diet again and getting symptoms again. I actually was at 160.3 at end of cleanse but since liver and metabolism working better went down to 159.2 after the cleanse for several days. I have felt a ton better and more energy since then and more motivated to eat cleaner and workout.
